BC Team Wins Towers

The Building Consultancy team have won a bid to provide surveying services with Connaught for Hammersmith and Fulham Homes as part of the decent homes upgrades.
The four towers are 20 floors high and will be occupied during the renovations. Hunters Building Consultancy team is providing expert advice in relation to works involved on the estate as the site not only provides housing but there is an amenity deck over a shopping centre at second floor level and it is owned by Land Securities.
Part of the refurbishment includes a new refuse disposal arrangements to replace the Garchey system which is beyond economic repair, this meant extensive liaison was required with the landlord, planning and highways authority, refuse and building control. Fire risk assessment and a tight schedule of works provided. Work is expected to complete at the end of the year.
